Energyst Event 2019

Apr 25, 2019

On-site generation and combined heat and power (CHP) specialist Edina is delighted to be returning to The Energyst Event 2019.  Taking place on the 1st and 2nd May at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham, the event will focus solely on the changing face of energy management and the effect it has on the bottom line.

Energy has slowly shifted from something people thought they ‘ought to do’, to something that became a must, to what is now an economic opportunity. A business can perform better financially by reducing the cost of energy, but the big story is how can we turn an energy strategy into a revenue generating centre while improving Corporate Social Responsibility credentials. This move has driven energy convergence.

The Energyst Energy 2019 headline conference, Energy Convergence, will centre on how energy is converging across efficiency, sustainability, procurement and flexibility, exploring the benefits end-users could reap through tactical partnerships, novel strategies and new technology.

Conference sessions will explore:

  • Energy outlook: The impact of incoming change
  • Is on-site generation an effective strategy?
  • Energy-as-a-service: What’s working and what’s not?
  • Convergence – case studies in combined energy strategies
  • Energy efficiency rebooted
  • Harnessing data to unlock energy savings
  • Maximising onsite generation, storage and flexibility
  • Powershift: The impact of EVs on your energy strategy
  • 2019: The year of the PPA
  • Achieving carbon zero

Edina will be on hand to discuss how users can offset the rise in energy costs through on-site generation using reciprocating gas engines and the benefits of combined heat and power (CHP) application.

You can find us in the Manxman Suite, and we’ll look forward to welcoming you at our show stand MS-14.
