Team Edina posted an impressive completion time of 4 hours 10 minutes across the 5 stages, ranking 713 out of 1,990 teams (beating their previous 2016 record at 4 hours 26 minutes, ranking 987).
The team set an ambitious target of raising £500 and through the support of 32 generous contributors, ‘Team Edina’ raised an impressive total sum of £895. Many thanks to all those that showed their support and gave generously. Marie Curie is an incredible charity.

This Bank Holiday Monday (7th May) Edina employees; Victoria Keys, Michelle Farrell, Colin McKibbin, Richard Patton and Neil Rutherford will be taking part in the annual Belfast City Marathon 2018 relay to raise money and awareness for end of life care provider Marie Curie.
Marie Curie is a remarkable charity, providing free nursing care and support for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. Given the choice, most of us would want to die peacefully at home. Marie Curie makes this possible and last year cared for over 40,000 people across the UK.
Over 17,000 runners are expected to take part in the 25.2 mile distance covering all corners of Belfast City. The route will be split into five relay stages with each Team Edina member running a portion of the overall distance.
With a fundraising target of £500, we need your support and encouragement to smash this target!
In 2016, Team Edina ran the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon raising an outstanding sum of £1,955.59 (279% of an initial target), and posted a completion time of 4 hours 26 minutes across the 5 stages, ranking 987 out of 1,990 teams.
With your support, we believe we can raise over £2,500 and complete the relay in under 4 hours! Quite a task! But I know together we can do it!
