Edina can supply a single gas engine configured to produce electricity with added heat recovery or engineer a multi-engine power plant with all associated balance of plant equipment, supporting components and ancillary equipment to deliver your total power requirement.
Our MWM gas engines can also seamlessly integrate alongside additional power generating equipment such as battery energy storage systems (BESS), renewable generation or microgrid solution, and if applicable, standby diesel generation plant and supporting rotary uninterrupted power supply (RUPS) equipment to ensure energy resilience and flexibility.
During our initial contact, our Sales Engineers will work with you to understand your challenges, project goals and power requirements. We do this by performing a Feasibility Study and Energy Review, which is a high-level analysis of your annual half hour electrical data and gas consumption.
Our Feasibility Study models your site usage to determine your fit for gas-fired power generation and allows us to correctly specify the appropriate gas engine based on your electrical and thermal requirement. The study demonstrates the potential energy savings and calculates the typical return on investment period.

Following the Feasibility Study and Energy Review phase, your Edina Sales Engineer will undertake site inspections and liaise directly with our Design and Project Managements departments to engineer the appropriate technical solution capable of achieving your projects goals and return on investment.
Once the technical solution has been realised, our Sales and Tendering departments will prepare a detailed, fully costed, and itemised proposal for review.
Once you are happy with our proposed technical solution, your project is handed over from our Sales Engineers to our Project Management, Design and Commissioning departments to ensure the scope of works and project deliverables are carried out effectively and within the agreed timescales.
Following the internal project handover phase, our design teams conduct site surveys and produce comprehensive mechanical and electrical schematics detailing the design layout of the plant.
At our in-house production facility, our engineering teams manufacture a bespoke genset acoustic enclosure and control panel system as per the project scope of supply before deploying to site for installation by our Project Management team.
Depending on the scope of works, our Project Management teams can deliver an integrated turnkey solution to include the supply of a single gas generator or multiple gas generator configuration, and all Balance of Plant supporting components and ancillary equipment to deliver your total power project requirement.
We assign your project with a dedicated and resourceful Edina Project Manager who will be your primary point of contact. Your Project Manager coordinates our internal Design, Engineering and Commissioning departments, and all relevant third parties associated with the project to ensure delivery milestones are met according to the project schedule.
Once the project is built and awaiting energisation, our Commissioning Team will undertake rigorous commissioning and performance testing to ensure all elements of the system operate as designed, and interface with the entire system completely, before passing into commercial operation.
As part of the project handover process, the Commissioning Team will provide you, your site staff and operators with operator familiarisation training which details the safe routine operation of the supplied equipment installed.
Now that your power plant is in commercial operational, Edina can tailor an after-sales support package to suit your maintenance requirements. We have one of the largest teams of field service engineers across the UK and Ireland and provide 24/7 remote monitoring support to ensure plant operational performance and availability are maintained 365 days a year.
