Leading gas-fired power generation specialists Edina will be returning to edie Live 2019 at the NEC Birmingham, 21st and 22nd May 2019.

edie Live is billed as the only UK event connecting energy, sustainability and resource professionals with the information, ideas and suppliers they need to make their businesses more sustainable.  edie Live is expected to attract thousands of visitors whereby they will meet hundreds of innovative exhibitors and take part in hours of information-packed seminars, interactive products trails, one-to-one advice clinics and great networking.

Keynote and seminars

The SUSTAINABILITY KEYNOTE THEATRE will provide the strategic insights to positively transform business.  On Day One, the Keynote Theatre will see thought-leaders discuss and debate green policy, ‘net-zero’ ambitions and new business models.   Day Two then takes a Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) theme, with various sustainability experts revealing how they are aligning with the SDGs to make their business a force for good.

Running alongside the Keynote will be three practical, CPD-certified seminar theatres, based on the key industry themes of ENERGY, the CIRCULAR ECONOMY and INNOVATION.  The seminars will be led by an array of expert speakers.

Co-located with Utility Week Live

edie Live 2019 is co-located with sister exhibition Utility Week Live – designed to explore the technological and product solutions transforming the way gas, water and electricity utilities do business.

Last year’s event marked the official launch of edie’s Mission Possible campaign to empower sustainable business.  This year the event is expected to turn ambition into action.

Your route to Energy Efficiency

Edina staff will be available to discuss your on-site gas-fired power generation requirement and highlight the benefits of producing power close to the point of use through combined heat and power (CHP) application.  In doing so, commercial and industrial users can significantly reduce their energy costs, reduce carbon emissions, improve business competitiveness and operational resilience.
