Health Facilities Scotland - Edina exhibiting at industry conference

Oct 30, 2018

Edina will be exhibiting at the Health Facilities Scotland Conference taking place at the Crieff Hydro Hotel, Perthshire on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd November 2018.

Aimed at Estate and Facilities professionals across the health and social care sectors, the conference aims to bring together industry speakers and delegates from across the country to share their knowledge and experience on a variety of topics to include; NHS Scotland Sustainability Strategy and the Electricity Storage Technologies for Improved Estate Resilience and Sustainability.

Edina has successfully installed over 30MWe combined heat and power (CHP) plants across local authorities and the healthcare sectors to include Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, and Gateshead District Energy Scheme – as a result, both projects utilise Edina’s CHP technological solution to offset electricity costs, reducing emissions, maintaining security of electricity supply and participate in providing balancing services to the local network.

Edina is currently working with Edinburgh Sick Children’s Hospital and Glasgow Royal Infirmary Hospital and its staff will be on hand to discuss the benefits of CHP technology at show stand 34.
