Edina today (2nd April 2024) announces the appointment of Adam Bloom as Edina’s new Chief Executive Officer, following an extensive selection process. Adam will replace Hugh Richmond following his intention to step back from his role as CEO.
Adam has worked for Edina for over twelve years. He has strengthened Edina’s portfolio as one of the leading power generation specialists and engineer, procurement, and construction solutions provider in his role as Group Head of Sales.
With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Adam brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. He is a dynamic and values-driven business professional with a diverse background and a proven track record of delivering results in the Power Generation and Renewable Energy Industry.
Adam has exceptional strategic capabilities, proven operational effectiveness, and strong sales experience in both developed and developing markets.

Adam will succeed Hugh Richmond, who has been with Edina since 2017 and has served as CEO since 2018. Hugh will continue to serve Edina in an advisory role and assist in the transition and continued development of Edina's UK, Ireland, and overseas activities before settling into retirement.
