HIGH EFFICIENCY, LOW OPERATING COSTS
The TCG 3016 is has the highest efficiency in its output class through unique combination of long maintenance intervals (80,000 operating hours for Natural Gas) and high efficiency (electrical efficiency up to 43.5 percent).
REDUCED INSTALLATION AND BUILDING COSTS
The TCG 3016 has a smaller setup area than comparable gensets due to its compact design and integrated tanks for daily refilling. Due to the flanged genset concept, the vibration decoupling takes place directly between the gas engine and the base frame, helping to further reduce setup costs.
OPTIMISED LURICANT CONSUMPTION
Greatly reduced oil consumption of less than 0.1 g/kWhe – the TCG 3016 gas engine boasts the lowest lubricant consumption in its class.

AN OPTIMUM CONTROL CONCEPT
TEM (Total Electronic Management) controls not just the engine… but the entire system including the heat supply from cogeneration. Temperature monitoring for each cylinder and anti-knock control ensure the best possible utilisation of fuel and maximum power output, even if gas composition fluctuates.

The optimised maintenance concept with cylinder units simplifies accessibility and, along with the reduction of the number of different parts, minimises the time required for maintenance. This can save you up to 20 percent in service costs. At the same time, you profit from up to 30 percent less lubricating oil consumption compared to other engines.
LONGER RUN TIMES
Thanks to the extended service intervals, the TCG 2032 runs up to 200 hours longer per annum than comparable products. The major overhaul is scheduled after 80,000 operating hours.
The particle-free combustion, with chamber plugs, extends the service intervals for the exhaust gas heat exchanger and reduces service costs compared to other combustion methods. Major components such as pistons, conrods, spark plugs and cylinder heads have been improved to withstand the greater power output and to deliver increased electrical efficiency.
The interaction of all components has been improved even further. All components relevant for efficiency and power output are monitored by the TEM (Total Electronic Management). The new, upgraded wastegate in particular ensures a more efficient operation with changing conditions. This is also the case when the gas composition is fluctuating – thanks to fast response times due to the temperature monitoring for each cylinder. TEM not only controls the engine… but the entire system… including heat extraction.

With outputs ranging from 9,830kWe to 10,300kWe, the new TCG 3042 boasts the highest output in the MWM product range with maximum electrical efficiency achieving 48 percent and best total efficiency of 93 percent.
OPTIMUM SPACE UTILISATION
Fewer components through modular design and integral structure ensure fast setup and minimal footprint. Because of its standard modular design, minimal space is required between multiple engine installations.
EASY MAINTENANCE AND LOW OPERATING COSTS
The TCG 3042 greatly reduces operating costs through easy maintenance and long maintenance intervals. The genset offers high reliability, modular design, and integral structure which reduce the number of components and facilitate the maintenance.
Suitable for natural gas applications and can be optimised for Combined Heat and Power (CHP) generation or for power generation only (depending on the application scenario). The TCG 3042 is available for high altitude installations, high intake air temperatures, and various fuel gas types with different methane numbers. Elsewhere, the TCG 3042 can be configured between summer and winter mode for Cogeneration power plant applications.
