As the Panel Shop Supervisor, I am responsible for the control panel’s built within Edina’s production facility in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
Working with a team of six electrical engineers, we build around ten main control panels each month along with other G99/G10 protection panels, VSD Control Panels, AUX Supply Panels, and any other bespoke panels for many different applications. Our manufactured panels are factory tested and programmed internally to allow for expedited on-site installation.
Whilst the majority of our manufactured control panels are installed within a containerised unit, we also build bespoke control panel units for existing plantroom installations. This means that we have a greater demand to build panels, not just for the production facility, but for bespoke sites for both gas and diesel applications.
I started my career at Edina in 2011 as a panel builder, and during my time here, the company has broadened my horizons and is certainly a great place to work and develop a career.
