As the Production Fore Person, I am responsible for the day-to-day running of production at Edina’s manufacturing facility based in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
My role involves building bespoke containerised gas generators for several industry sectors including Wastewater Treatment, Hospitals, and Anaerobic Digestion plants.
Through close collaboration between our internal mechanical, electrical and design teams, we oversee any daily challenges during the engineering stages, ensuring that all production delivery targets and met, whilst adhering to our high-quality manufacturing standards.
Having gained the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) accreditation, I ensure all health and safety needs are met for all production staff for them to carry out their duties in a safe working environment.
Since joining the business in 2010, Edina has continued to expand within the Combined Heat and Power (CHP), Reserve Peaking Plants, and Standby power generation industries, and our containerised sets have reached clients as far as Australia.
