About Edina

Edina is a leading power generation specialist and EPC solutions provider for the engineering, installation and maintenance of gas-fired distributed power plants, standby mission critical generation, and battery energy storage systems.

Power Your Future

Edina specialises in the engineering, installation and after-care support of hydrogen-ready gas-fired Combined Heat and Power (CHP) plants, fast response balancing peaking plants, mission-critical standby diesel generation, and battery energy storage.

Our Offices

We employ over 200 staff across our international operations located in Stockport (UK), Lisburn, Dublin, Cork (Ireland), Perth (Australia), and New Delhi (India), and collectively manage a growing portfolio of over 1GW electrical distributed generation.

Our Customers

For over 35 years we continue to support the growth of decentralised low carbon power generation, helping commercial and industrial businesses improve energy efficiency, cost savings, power resilience, and emission reduction as we collectively move towards achieving net zero.

Our Mission

Our aims are to: Build long lasting partnerships with our customers in support of their project requirements…deliver market-leading gas and diesel power generation solutions to reduce energy costs, greenhouse emissions and to maximise our customers’ return on their investments.

Our Values

We are totally committed to the sustainable growth of our business through the continuous development of our products, services and staff. We will be flexible in the market to best meet our customers’ needs through the deployment of our skills and will conduct all our relationships with honesty, fairness and respect.

Our Standards

ISO 45001:2018

We pride ourselves on the care and consideration taken to ensure that all of our products and services comply with the highest health and safety standards. Therefore, and to achieve this, the Edina Group operates and maintains a formal Health & Safety Management System within the structure of an Integrated Management System.

This ensures that all persons working for, and on behalf of Edina, are adequately trained, informed, instructed, managed and monitored in order to maintain the highest safety, health and welfare protection standards… and to reduce the accident and incident rate within the company.

Our impeccable safety record is maintained via investing heavily in safety training and equipment. This allows us to fulfill our pledge to provide a safe and healthy working environment for our employees.

Safe systems of work, within a safe place of work, are applied in a consistent manner at all sites under the control of the Edina Group, or where our employees have to carry out their work.

All certificates are available on request.

ISO 9001:2015

We are totally committed to satisfying the requirements of our customers in all respects and strive to ensure that the quality of our products and services exceed expectations and provide a benchmark for our competitors.

This is achieved by operating a formal Quality Management System, designed and implemented to meet the requirements of ISO 9001-2015, and incorporated in our Integrated Management System to embrace all of the activities which impact upon our customers.

Consistent with ensuring that our products and services achieve a standard that conforms to contractual requirements, the Company will also comply with all relevant legislation and other codes of practice applicable to our industry.

All certificates are available on request.

ISO 14001:2015

We work closely with all relevant regulatory authorities and comply with all current legislation that applies to emissions.

The company’s commitment to having a positive effect on the environment goes way beyond current legislation and directly affects clients and suppliers in a positive way.

This is achieved by the implementation of our Environmental Management System compliant to ISO 14001-2015.

With environment and climate change being a critical issue facing the international community, we believe in the need for a market-based approach to the development of current and future clean technologies that reduce emissions and sustain the environment.

As a global supplier of turnkey plant construction, Edina is committed to being part of the process of finding policy solutions that meet the needs of our customers, currently involved in energy production.

Diesel, gas with combined heat and power (CHP) applications are just a few examples of critical technologies that must be a part of any climate change policy. These technologies, coupled with incentives for the development of new, breakthrough approaches… will deliver increased sustainability and economic opportunities.

Edina’s approach is integrated into a harmonised global system of greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, in particular one that avoids local or regional development of separate paths – requiring separate technology – in achieving emissions targets. Proposed solutions also must factor in the broad economic impact as well as the impact on existing energy sectors. We believe that reducing greenhouse gas emissions can, and should, provide more opportunities than risks for our industry.

All certificates are available on request.
